60 Squadron Royal Air Force

Pembroke was used by several air forces but, oddly, only 5 (the President
versions) saw civil use.
the Cold War some were modified to carry
cameras which were used flying along the corridors to and from Berlin. As this was forbidden they always carried
spare radar parts for the airfield and the excuse would be that if they were
forced down they would say the radar parts were required urgently and this was
the only aircraft available. As the East
Germans had guard posts at the edge of the airfield the aircraft always had
curtains drawn and were parked close to the hangers with the door towards the
hanger to prevent the guard post seeing into the aircraft or how many people
got on or off.
